The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on September 21, 2015 summoned one Amadi Jude before Justice Emmanuel Obile of the Federal High Court Calabar, Cross River State on a 12-number charge verging on acquiring cash by false falsification. Amadi who passes by distinctive pseudo names – Richard Smith, Mike Anderson, Richard Darwin, Jackson Miller, and Morgan Abela, is affirmed to have gathered N4,544,000 from a Swedish national, and guaranteed to wed her.

Tally one peruses: "That you, Amadi Jude Junior (pseudonym Richard smith, Mike Anderson, Richard Darwin, Jackson Miller, Morgan Abela) 'm', John Ikechukwu Efughi (everywhere), and Farouk (everywhere), between May 2014 and January 2015 in Calabar, Cross River State, inside of the locale of this decent court did scheme among yourselves to submit lawful offense with it: getting cash by false falsification and accordingly dedicated an offense as opposed to segment 8 (an) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offenses Act, 2006 and culpable under area 1 (3) of the same demonstration."
