Armed force advances 5,000 warriors battling Boko haram
The Nigeria Army has affirmed the advancement of 5,000 officers battling Boko Haram extremists and others included in different operations, as a feature of ventures to help their confidence.
The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.- Gen. Tukur Buratai, made the declaration yesterday in Abuja, at the opening of the 2015 Chief of Army Staff Third Quarter meeting at Army Headquarters.
He said that the warriors' advancement was done to support the resolve of troops and reposition its operations.
He additionally said that it was in accordance with the Army's vision summon to remunerate brave troops in any capacity regarded fit to help their battle status and ability to serve their homeland.
He said:
"Since we went ahead board, we have presented a few measures went for urging our troops to give their best in the administration of their country.
"The endorsement of the quickened advancement of 5,000 warriors was to recover the guarantee made by my forerunner to the troops battling radicals in the North-East.
"It is my conviction that this advancement, combined with different impetuses, will urge our troops to battle for our nation."
